In the lead up to Christmas, I decided to make a wreath using a bunch of flowers I picked up from Rocklea Markets. All these flowers are native and quite dry which worked well in the wreath as they held their shape. I liked the colours of the deeper grey/green foliage coupled with the whites of the Baby's Breath flowers and the pop of colour found in the burgundy blossoms.
Materials that I used included scissors, flower tape, a piece of Macrame cord and flower wires. I used flower tape and a long piece of Macrame cord to wrap the individual flower stems around. Then using thin wires, I secured the wreath into a circular shape and fastened it onto the front door.
