DAY 3:
We decided it would be a great day to visit the beach and cool off from the scorching HK summer heat. There was a bus to Stanley beach right outside our hotel and the picturesque drive there took us along winding coastal roads. Stanley markets near the beach were busy and selling all sorts of goodies. We treated ourselves to some gelato and bought some post cards. The water was amazingly warm and there were a few floating platoons you could swim to that were set up for beach goers to relax on in the middle of the sea.
Seeing the HK skyline is a must and at night, we had dinner along Tsim Tsa Tsui promenade and watched the light show. Later we caught the star ferry across the harbour back into Hong Kong Island side.
