This was our favourite Greek island - it had a very chill and relaxing vibe and was very family friendly. We wish we could have stayed longer here.
Our airbnb hosts Patricia and Stephane were absolute legends who made this trip for us. They included us in their daily lives, invited us to attend a traditional greek BBQ with their local friends, cooked us breakfast and taught us Greek words every morning. It was easy to scooter around the town and explore the island. The greek people were all so friendly, we got lost on our scooter trying to find our accommodation and 2 greek farmers stopped to help us!
Apollo's Sanctuary with amazing views of Parikia
Lots of farming in the middle of the island
Kalogeros Beach well known for its mud which you can scrape off the side of the cliffs and apply to your skin. Our skin was silky smooth after we washed it off in the sea.
Sleepy old town of Lefkes
We found this book left hidden underneath the rocks for visitors to write in at Apollo's Sanctuary
