The Bay of Kotor is a stunning world UNESCO heritage listed bay with steep mountains rising up all around it. The entire bay is dotted with small little towns that sit right on the waterfront, making it the most beautiful road to drive along. Each and every windy turn provides stunning views of the mountains and the bay meeting each other. Perast was our favourite town along the whole bay. It was a small, sleepy town and so picturesque. It was also a good viewing point for the two islands in the middle of the bay that are home to two very distinct looking churches. This was the place that we experienced our first ‘free camping’ which was equal parts exciting and scary. Perast however was the perfect spot to free camp and no one bothered us both nights we were here.
Beautiful sunsets over the Bay of Kotor.
Waking up to views like this!
Lots of crab pots!
Beautiful town of Perast!
We saw a boat shoot a distress flare up into the air and it was carrying many passengers.
Crazy rugged mountain ranges meeting the bay waters.

Kotor old town is the UNESCO world heritage town that sits right on the Bay of Kotor. It is an old fort city and part of the city walls that extend up the mountain still remain. Inside the old town are many shops and restaurants and we found the place quite packed even in late October. There were enormous cruise ships that were docked on the bay.
