We stayed in the town of Virpazar which sits at the entrance to Lake Skadar National Park. We didn’t get to see the famous U shaped bend of Lake Skadar as it was on the far north eastern side and the viewing point is only accessible by car or via boat. As we arrived in the afternoon to the camp site, we didn’t have time for either of those options so we went for a bike ride instead inside the national park and found some stunning views of the lake. We had a 4 day run of bad weather here with constant rain, so we weren’t able to do as much exploring and stayed cosy inside the van instead. The van held up well in the rain and was mostly waterproof except for the back cupboard. Joe resealed the back cupboard up in between the rain showers.
