We visited the capital of Macedonia for 2 days and enjoyed a really relaxing and informative free walking tour. We had delicious Burek with a yoghurt drink for breakfast and strolled around the town taking in the numerous marbled monuments. The centre square of town is dominated by a large statue of Alexander the Great. There were a lot of stray dogs that followed our entire walking tour. After the walking tour, we hung out with an American friend we met originally on a walking tour in Sofia, Bulgaria.
