Road tripping through Central and North Poland

On our route towards the Baltic countries, we had to drive across Poland and we enjoyed a really nice string of wild camping spots along the way. Torun was a town on the way which had beautiful architecture and we enjoyed one night here. In Miedzychod, we made a quick stop at a former fortified area where the German army built there defensive line against the soviet invasion in WWII. There were multiple bunkers, a 1km+ length of concrete tank taps (which is used today for playing paintball) and a T-34 tank which Joe enjoyed climbing onto! In a small Polish town called Gorzow Wielkopolski, we also visited Joe’s friend from work and his partner and enjoyed a lovely evening with them filled with food and great conversation. We didn’t leave their place til midnight!
